Hi, and welcome to my site! I'm an award-winning feature film screenwriter, director, short filmmaker, script, film and novel analyst, consultant, writer (fiction and non-fiction), shirt, hat and mug designer, Mama Fix It™, and mother of two beautiful, neurodiverse kids. I am so excited to announce that I recently published the master class e-book, Pitching to Win: Mastering the Hollywood Pitch!
When I'm not writing scripts, working on my blog, creating short films, MAMA FIX IT™ episodes, and merchandise to help support my endeavors, I enjoy consulting with and helping other writers and filmmakers advance their careers through gaining a deeper understanding of the storytelling process, the commercial film market, and how to succeed in the industry.
Several of my feature-length scripts have been Semifinalists in the Academy's Nicholl Fellowship Screenwriting Competition, Page Awards, Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Competition, and more. Not only that, but they've received incredibly positive feedback from A-listers Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Jon Krasinski, and Reese Witherspoon in addition to many other A-list writers, directors, agents and producers in the industry.
I'm currently Associate Producing my most recent script, THE ONLY WAY OUT, an Academy Nicholl Fellowship Semifinalist action-thriller. The script is being produced by Marty Katz (TITANIC, REINDEER GAMES, THE GREAT RAID, MAN OF THE HOUSE) and Steve Schklair (THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN, U23D, STALINGRAD) and has an amazing director, Eric Schwab (2nd Unit Director TOP GUN: MAVERICK, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE) attached. And I'm repped by the most wonderful and amazing manager, Stephanie Rogers & Associates.

Education and Experience
Moving on to the more boring stuff... Credentials... I have a B.A. Degree in Creative Writing and a Minor in Theatre from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Certificate in Feature Film Writing from UCLA Extension.
I've written, produced, directed, edited, coordinated stunts, performed stunts and often star in my own award-winning, low-to-no budget short films which I make as a way to improve my writing skills and better understand the entire filmmaking process.

In addition to writing and filmmaking, I've also worked as a script consultant on numerous feature film, short film, and television projects, and have read and provided script coverage for The 51 Fund and The Sundance Institute's Writers and Directors Labs programs.
I'm also currently volunteering as a screenwriting mentor for students at Utah Valley University and am an active member of Women in Film and Media, Colorado who volunteers at events whenever I can. I also participate in many other WIF chapters' events.
